This wine is made from fruit solely grown from our highly regarded Quarters Vineyard. We chose this vineyard because it exhibits the hallmarks of a truly great pinot noir vineyard.
For us this means that this vineyard has its own micro-climate and soil profile that allows the pinot noir variety to shine. We then take these natural inputs and build on them, by making our own compost, growing biodiversity through having our own cows on site to aid soil health. Not to mention hours spent managing the vines so that they produce small, highly flavourful bunches of fruit for us to make wine from.
As winemakers we love that we can then taste this wine year after year seeing up close how the vines have coped with each season and the challenges that each year brings. We hope you will enjoy this too.
