End of Vintage 2019
And just like that the fruit from our 2019 vintage is in the winery but there’s’ still a far bit on the horizon to tick off. Pinot is right at the end of ferment, we are watching and tasting each day as we try and judge the best moment to press each tank. There is no exact science here, but if you make the wrong decision you can definitely taste it further down the track. No pressure!! Chardonnay is in barrel smelling amazing as it ticks it’s way slowly through ferment. The winery is still buzzy and there is a lot of conversation about what the vintage party should include! At this moment in time I think we would both choose a properly decent glass of wine and a week of sleep!
No chance of that just yet as behind the scenes we kick off our first en premier release with the 2018 Chardonnay to our Founding Members this week. We are confident that it is good, which makes the whole release even more exciting. (Full release of this wine is set for June). Again, a tiny volume so if you are keen to get your hands on some add your name to our mailing list.
